Terms and Conditions
Effective date: September 29, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Nourri Express customer app, website or any other part of our delivery service (together, the “Services”), which Nourri Express Ltd (“Nourri Express”, “we”, “us”) operates in Cameroon. By creating an account or placing an order, you accept them. How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
- You sign in with your WhatsApp number and a code we send to it. Keep your phone and WhatsApp secure: anyone who can read your codes can use your account.
- Give us your real name and a number where you can be reached. Your rider calls the number on your account when delivering, and you can change it in your profile.
- You must be old enough to enter into a contract under the laws of Cameroon.
- One account per person. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.
2. Ordering food
- Restaurants on Nourri Express are independent businesses. They set their menus, prices and opening hours, prepare your food, and are responsible for what it contains. If you have an allergy, ask the restaurant before you order.
- An order is placed when you confirm it at checkout. The restaurant may still decline it, for example if an item is no longer available.
- If a price changes before your order is placed, the app shows you the new total and asks you to confirm it.
3. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery times shown in the app are estimates, not guarantees.
- Make sure your delivery address and landmark are accurate and that you can be reached by phone. If a rider cannot reach you or find the address, the order may not be delivered.
- For pickup orders, you collect the order from the restaurant yourself.
4. Prices, fees and payment
- Before you confirm, checkout shows everything you will pay: the items, any delivery fee and service charge, any discount, and any tip you choose to add. Prices are in CFA francs (XAF).
- A tip is optional and goes to your rider.
- You pay with one of the methods shown at checkout, such as MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, cash on delivery or your Nourri Express wallet. Mobile money and card payments are handled by third-party payment providers.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel an order yourself for a short time after placing it: the app shows a Cancel button with a countdown. After that, contact support to ask for a cancellation.
- Refunds are paid into your Nourri Express wallet. They are not sent back to your mobile money account or card.
- Cash payments are final. Once a rider has collected cash for an order, it is not refunded. If a cash order is cancelled before any cash is collected, you have not been charged anything.
- If something went wrong with an order or you think you were charged incorrectly, contact us through the Help Center with the order details.
6. Your Nourri Express wallet
Your wallet holds credit in CFA francs, from refunds and from any top-ups you make. You can use it to pay for orders on Nourri Express. Wallet credit cannot be withdrawn as cash. The wallet is not a bank account and earns no interest.
7. Sending parcels (NourriSend)
- NourriSend is for documents, keys and small personal items that can travel by bike. Items above the estimated value shown in the app cannot be sent.
- Describe your parcel accurately. Do not send anything illegal, dangerous, or that we tell you we do not carry. The rider may refuse a parcel that does not match its description or that looks unsafe.
- NourriSend is not insurance and does not guarantee compensation. If something goes wrong, report it within the time shown in the app so our support team can review it.
- The rider photographs the parcel at pickup, and codes confirm the pickup and the delivery. Do not share a code with anyone who should not receive the parcel.
- By giving us a recipient’s name and phone number, you confirm that they agree to be contacted about the delivery, including on WhatsApp.
- You pay for a parcel in cash at pickup or in advance, as shown when you book it.
8. Using the Services fairly
Do not:
- place orders you do not intend to accept or pay for;
- threaten, harass or abuse riders, restaurant staff or our team;
- misuse promotions, create extra accounts to get them, or use someone else’s account or payment method;
- interfere with the apps, the website or our systems.
Promotions and discount codes come with the conditions shown with them, and we may end a promotion at any time.
9. Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is used for fraud. You can delete your account once no order is in progress, your wallet balance has been used, and nothing is owed; our account deletion page explains how.
10. Our responsibility
We work to keep the Services available and deliveries on time, but we cannot promise that the Services will always be available or free of errors. For parcels, section 7 applies: NourriSend does not guarantee compensation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the laws of Cameroon.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the effective date above. If you keep using the Services after a change, the updated terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.
